Puppet Design and construction

Edison was a commissioned puppet for The MOB’s performance of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. He is deigned after an old English sheep dog. We decided on a thick shaggy finish which gives him lots of texture and movement. Hist construction is relatively simple to operate as the MOB is a youth theatre.

He is a plastazote construction scrimmed and finished with a towelled rag coat. he also has a paper Mache head.

I also had the joy of giving my pervious commission with the MOD a look over and do some maintenance on the puppet as it had been out for two years.
