Lantern Parade - Light night 2020

In January of 2020 I worked along side Jess Kemp in the lead up to the lantern Parade for Nottingham light Night. We worked with various community groups across the city help each participant design and make their own lantern. The project was ended with a large lantern parade through the city where the participants could display their lanterns. Along side I worked with Nikki Charlesworth to build a large scale lantern puppet of a Sea dragon, that we puppeteers for the event.

The theme of light night 2020 was life on earth, each group either worked to the theme of sea animals or British wildlife to create a sense of cohesion to the parade.
